✅ VOTE YES this November to keep your libraries open and staffed!

TImberland Regional Library will be on the ballot this November. A vote yes will keep libraries open and staffed to continue serving the community with essential resources.

The official launch of the Yes For Libraries ballot campaign in Thurston County is next Saturday, September 12th, from 12:30 to 3PM. There'll be sign waving outside the downtown Olympia Library, followed by refreshments at Three Magnets Brewing Co. You can also pick up yard signs and sign up to volunteer with the campaign!

A massive thank you to the Timberland Regional Library facilities team for gracing us with a new sign out front of the Centralia Timberland Library! The old one was quite literally crumbling to pieces. Thank you for maintaining the historic look of our building while ensuring visitors can find us easily!

New library card alert! 🚨

We have some exciting library card news!

We are so proud to be partnering with Laufey - 2X GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, New York Times bestselling author, and honorary chair of Library Card Signup Month and her global Laufey Book Club to offer a limited-edition TRL X Laufey Book Club Card celebrating community, creativity, and connection this September.

TRL is the ONLY library system in the state partnering with Laufey Book Club for this limited-edition card and one of nearly 50 library systems across the world launching these collaborative library cards.

How YOU can get your card:

• Cards will arrive at TRL libraries in early September, just in time for Library Card Signup Month.

• Follow your local Timberland Library on social media for an announcement when the cards arrive at your branch.

• Check your library’s open days and hours at TRL.org/Locations.

• Cards are available to both new and existing TRL cardholders*, one per patron, while supplies last. No reservations will be available.

*If you’re an existing cardholder, your new Laufey card will come with a new library card number.

As the end of gardening season approaches and you're carefully saving your seeds, please remember all the little free seed libraries that Timberland Regional Library hosts, especially ours at Centralia Timberland Library, and consider contributing a portion to this fantastic community resource. While you're there, peruse the collection and start getting ideas for next year's growing season (or a Winter garden)!
