Big achievements deserve big celebrations! 🐅🎓🏆
Join us in celebrating CHS Top 10!

Penelope Joy Fuller is the daughter of Jonathan and Holly Fuller. During her years at Centralia High School, she has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.87, and is ranked 10th in the class of 2026. Penelope has taken all the advanced classes offered to freshmen and sophomore years in math, English and social studies, and has attended Centralia College as a Running Start student since the summer quarter before her junior year. Beyond the rigorous course load, Penelope has also been a member of the National Honor Society for the last two years of high school. Looking to the future, she has narrowed her focus of study to STEM classes, such as chemistry, physics and calculus. Come June, Penelope will graduate with an associate’s of science degree in addition to her high school diploma. She will attend Saint Martin’s University in the fall to earn a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, which will prepare her for a career as a civil engineer.

Join us in celebrating all of CHS Top 10!

Brooklyn Sprague is the daughter of Heather and Kyle Sprague. Brooklyn has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.96 and is ranked ninth in the 2026 graduating class. She has maintained this GPA all while taking advanced courses that include advanced geometry, advanced algebra 2, AP and college-level history classes and honors English during her high school years. She also attended Running Start classes full-time at Centralia College her junior and senior year. Outside of academics, Brooklyn has been involved in ASB serving on the executive branch as the secretary and activities coordinator. She has also competed for the Tigers in volleyball, basketball and fastpitch all four years of high school, in which she earned many all-league honors in all three sports. Brooklyn plans on attending Centralia College to continue her education and fastpitch career. She has recently been accepted into the bachelor of teaching program at Centralia College. She intends to earn her bachelor’s of elementary education degree at CC and then transfer to a four-year university to continue playing fastpitch while working toward her master’s degree. Brooklyn’s ultimate goal is to find an elementary teaching position locally to give back to the community that made her who she is.

Join us in celebrating Skyla Jade Denton

Skyla Jade Denton is the daughter of Joel and Holly Denton. She has achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.96 throughout high school, graduating eighth in the class of 2026. During her time at Centralia High School, she has taken various Honors, AP and college level courses, including honors English, AP world history and advanced pre-calculus. Skyla will be earning her associate’s degree alongside her high school diploma due to being enrolled full-time in the Running Start program at Centralia College. In addition to academics, Skyla has participated in two years of girls basketball and three years of track and field throughout high school. Other community and school events such as the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run have also made a significant impact on her during her high school career. In the fall, Skyla will be continuing her education at the University of California Santa Cruz to earn a bachelor’s degree in business management economics. In the future, Skyla hopes to use her schooling to build a career in marketing or advertising.

So proud to see our Teacher Academy students out in classrooms making a real impact. 🌟

Esmeralda Sanchez is pictured here with her practicum class alongside Miss Leyde, putting her skills into practice and building meaningful connections with students at Edison Elementary. Throughout this trimester, our Teacher Academy students have been working in practicums across the district, gaining hands-on experience and inspiring the next generation.
A heartfelt thank you to all of the teachers who welcomed a practicum student into their classrooms, and to Mrs. Jones for leading a successful first year of our Teacher Academy program.

Big achievements deserve big celebrations! 🐅🏆🎓
Join us in celebrating CHS TOP 10!
Isaac E. Wallace is the son of Melissa Wallace, a realtor, and George Wallace, a United States Army veteran. Isaac is graduating from Centralia High School with a cumulative GPA of 4.0, ranking him seventh in the class of 2026, as well as the class’s valedictorian.

Throughout his time at Centralia High School, he has taken most available honors and college in the high school classes, including honors English 9, honors English 10, English 101, English 201, advanced geometry, advanced algebra 2, pre-calculus, calculus, AP physics, world history, American experience, global issues and psychology.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Isaac took part in CHS’s powerlifting club during his junior and senior years. He also joined the Rotary Club and National Honor Society during his senior year contributing toward the school’s efforts in bettering local communities.

Next year, Isaac plans to attend Centralia College, majoring in math, to get his associate’s degree and explore his future career path options. He hopes that his time at Centralia College will shape his future and help guide him toward a specific career.

Big achievements deserve big celebrations!🐅🏆🎓
Owen J. Sharp is the son of Michelle Sharp, Mike Johnston and Neil Sharp. He graduates as class salutatorian with a 3.99 cumulative GPA, graduating sixth in his class.

During high school, Owen completed a variety of honors and college in the high school courses in math, English and social studies. Through the Running Start program at Centralia College, he will earn his associate in arts degree concurrently with his high school graduation.

In addition to his academics, Owen participated in athletics and technical competitions. He joined the Centralia High School football team as a junior and was appointed a team captain during his senior year, which was also his first year playing high school baseball. As a dedicated competitor in SkillsUSA welding, Owen won both regional and state welding competitions.

Following high school, he plans to continue his studies in the welding program at Centralia College. His objective is to obtain several industry certifications through the program, providing the foundation for his career goal of becoming a certified welding inspector.

Big achievements deserve big celebrations! 🐅🏆🎓
Join us in celebrating all of top 10 here at CHS!
Evan Nathanial Thummel, is the son of Jeff and Dana Thummel. Evan has a cumulative GPA of 3.93 and is ranked fifth in the 2026 class.

Throughout high school, he has consistently taken honors, advanced or college-level classes in math, English and humanities. Evan was also enrolled as a Running Start student at Centralia College during his senior year.

In addition to his rigorous course load, Evan competed in multiple sports, and is a four-year varsity letterman in cross country, as well as track and field, a varsity letterman in one year of competing on the inaugural swim team, and participated in basketball for two years.

He has also participated in SkillsUSA, specifically in the 3D Visualization and Animation category where he and his partner were state and national Champions in 2025. Next year, Evan will be attending the University of Oregon, pursuing a degree in film with the intentions of beginning a career in film or media production.
