Today was Mr. Bjorge’s last day after teaching in D6 since 1996, and Patrick Elementary did what they do best… showed up with HEART (and glasses… and beards 😉).

From tiny “Mini-Bjorges” to full-on “Bjorge Farewell Tour” looks, our kids and staff celebrated a teacher who made learning an adventure and made students feel seen.

Mr. Bjorge, thank you for the laughs, the stories, and the years of dedication. Enjoy every minute of retirement—you’ve earned it. 💙🐾✨

Last week of school = peak magic ✨🎉

Mae Richardson brought the fun with a classic: kids vs. staff — and let’s just say… the students showed up READY. 😄🙌
📣 Winner: 5th Grade!
Unofficial score: 20–18 kids (but who’s counting? 😉)

Nothing like sunshine, cheers, and a little friendly competition to wrap up the year the right way. 💚

Rain tried… but last-week-of-school magic is undefeated at Patrick Elementary. 😄☔️✨

Big Air Day still took off—our Panthers bounced, climbed, slid, and sprinted their way through the day like the drizzle was just background music. 🪽🐾

Huge shoutout to the Patrick PTO + the incredible volunteers who powered through the weather to make sure students had the BEST time. 💙👏

Breaking news from D6: Teacher vs. 5th grader hockey is still undefeated 🏒😄
Sams Valley Elementary wrapped their tournament with the annual showdown… and this year it was extra legendary: Drake vs. Drake.
Same last name. Same rink. Same “let’s goooo!” energy. 😂👏

It’s the last week of school! We always have a teacher versus 5th graders hockey game to wrap up our SVE spring hockey tournament. It’s always extra special when teachers play against their own family! This year we had Drake vs. Drake!
