Today, MEGA had the privilege of supporting an incredible group of volunteers working with Habitat for Humanity Pennyrile Region. We delivered lunch and spent time with the dedicated “care-a-vanners” — volunteers who travel across the country to help build safe, affordable housing for families in need.

This amazing group represented Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Louisiana, all coming together for one shared purpose: building a home and strengthening a community. 🏡

We were also able to walk through the home currently under construction, where the walls are filled with handwritten scripture and inspirational messages. It’s a powerful reminder that this house is being built with not just tools, but heart. We were proud to leave a message on behalf of MEGA and the Muhlenberg County Housing Coalition.

A special thank you to Lawton Insurance for providing today’s lunch!

Have you seen the progress at Paradise Industrial Park? 👀

Watch it come to life in this time-lapse from March 2026—showcasing the momentum, infrastructure, and opportunity driving growth in Muhlenberg County. The BE&E building is already 70% complete!

Thanks to favorable weather and the outstanding work of Force Construction and their team, this project is moving full speed ahead. With strong support from regional banking partners, this development is paving the way for major economic impact—including a projected 250 new jobs over the next 3–4 years.

We’re looking forward to celebrating with a ribbon cutting later this summer (late July/early August)—stay tuned! 🎉
