The CPD is responsible for providing law enforcement services to our growing community and enhance the quality of life for those who live here

The Central Police Department employs the following:

3 salaried positions:
Chief of Police, James Salsbury. James is elected by the voters of Central for a four year term. Assistant Chief of Police, Steve Wallis, elected by the Chief of Police.

12 non-

salaried positions:
10 - fully commissioned law enforcement officers.
1 - Secretary to the Chief of Police
1 - Dispatcher

This group will contribute thousands of hours this year to promote safety to the residents of Central.
