The Rotary Club of Muhlenberg County was honored to welcome local Special Olympians Hunter Gamble and Katie Williams as our guest speakers this week.
Hunter and Katie are members of the Daviess County Special Olympics Flag Football Team, which has been selected to represent Kentucky at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota. This prestigious event will bring together more than 3,000 athletes and 1,500 coaches from all 50 states. Special Olympics Kentucky
Team Kentucky will include 37 athletes, with the Flag Football Team featuring athletes from Daviess, Hancock, and Muhlenberg Counties—including our own Hunter and Katie!
This incredible opportunity comes with significant expenses, including equipment, training camps, travel, lodging, meals, and uniforms. The team is working to raise $25,000 to make this dream a reality.
