**FEDERAL DISASTER DECLARATION APPROVED IN RESPONSE TO FLOODING AND SEVERE STORMS FROM EARLY JULY**

Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has announced that President Donald Trump approved a Federal Disaster Declaration in response to the historic flash flooding and severe storms that occurred July 9th through 11th.

According to the governor's office, joint preliminary damage assessments estimated more than $26.5 million in emergency response costs and damage to public infrastructure in nine counties, including Bollinger, Reynolds, Ripley, and Wayne counties.

On Tuesday, President Trump approved 19.9 million dollars to assist recovery efforts.

The federal major disaster declaration makes the FEMA Public Assistance program available to local governments and qualifying nonprofits for the repair and rebuilding of damaged roads, bridges, and other public infrastructure as well as reimbursement of emergency response costs and debris removal.

🚨 STOLEN VEHICLE – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

The Reynolds County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate the white 2020 Jeep Rubicon with Plate # JF5E8G, which has been reported stolen from the Centerville, Missouri area.

The Jeep is a white 4-door Rubicon with black trim and black wheels, as shown in the photograph.

Anyone who has recently seen this Jeep, knows where it may be located, or has information regarding its theft is asked to contact Reynolds County 911 Communications Center at 573-648-2491 opt 1.

⚠️ Do not approach or attempt to recover the vehicle yourself. If you see it, safely obtain its location and direction of travel and immediately contact Reynolds County 911 Communication Center.

Deputy S. Williams is investigating the case.
