The Centerville Lions Club annual Golf Scramble will be this Saturday at the Centerville Municipal Golf Course. We currently have fourteen teams signed up and we can accommodate one or two more teams if there are any who have not signed up but would like to play. Please see details below and contact Rodney if interested. We really appreciate all sponsors and participants for this worthy cause and look forward to seeing everyone Saturday for some fun and great food! By popular demand, we will again serve Joey Hunt’s famous jambalaya for lunch along with grilled hamburgers and desserts. Please feel free to share our post.

Our Centerville Lions Club annual golf tournament will be here soon and there are still some four person team slots available. Please contact Rodney Rochelle if you are interested. Also, if you want to be a sponsor in this worthy cause and have your business or name recognized at the tournament please let Rodney know that as well. Finally, at last night’s club meeting we finalized our plans to have grilled hamburgers and Joey Hunt’s famous jambalaya for lunch again this year. Please share this information and we hope to see you there!

The Centerville Lions Club invites you to visit our tent at the Halloween Parade Saturday, October 28, 2023. We will be set up on the square across from “Lillie & Blanche” and will have coffee, soft drinks, ribeye sandwiches, hamburgers, jambalaya, hot dogs and chips. Food and drinks will be available at noon through the conclusion of the parade. Members will be available if you would like information about what we do in the community or about joining our club. Come and support your local Lions Club!

The Centerville Lions Annual Golf Scramble for tomorrow (Saturday, May 20, 2023) has been cancelled due to the weather forcast. The plan is to reschedule for late summer or early fall. We will post the new information when available. Thanks to everyone who supports the club that allows us to provide needed services to our community.

Great day of eye screening at Hickman County High School. A big thanks to the East Hickman Lions Club, the Centerville Lions Club, all the school staff and health care professionals who worked to provide the health screening service for our athletes!
