🏙️ Celebrating Centerton’s History! 🍎

Today, September 16, we celebrate an important milestone in the history of our great community—Centerton was officially incorporated as a city on September 16, 1914.

From our early days as a railroad stop and an important center of Benton County’s apple industry, Centerton has grown into the wonderful community we know and love today. In fact, Centerton once proudly carried the nickname “Apple Capital of the World.” 🍎

For 112 years, generations of families, businesses, city employees, elected officials, volunteers and community members have played a part in building Centerton into what it is today.

As Mayor, I am proud to have served this community and witnessed so much of its growth and transformation. But most importantly, I am proud of the people who call Centerton home.

Happy 112th Anniversary, Centerton! 🎉🇺🇸

Let’s continue to honor our history, appreciate how far we have come, and look forward to an even brighter future for our community.

📢 PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

The Centerton City Council and Centerton Utilities Commission will hold a Joint Work Session on:

📅 Monday, September 21, 2026
🕡 6:30 PM
📍 Centerton Municipal Building
210 Captain Kelley Drive

The meeting will include an update and presentation regarding the Northwest Arkansas Sewer Report currently being completed.

This is a public meeting, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Water Moratorium Update

Centerton Utilities . Centerton Residents,
The moratorium on all lawn irrigation and watering has been lifted, however we are requesting that everyone follow the odd/even watering schedule as follows:
Odd-numbered addresses water on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Even-numbered addresses water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
No watering on Sunday to assist in System Recovery that day
Please continue hand watering of trees, shrubs, flower beds and gardens unless homeowners have drip irrigation systems installed for these items. If they do have drip irrigation, then those items may be watered on their assigned odd/even day.
Also, new pools that have been constructed and are waiting to be filled must be filled according to the Odd / Even watering schedule.
All outdoor irrigation must occur before 8 AM and/or after 7 PM on the designated days.*
The installation of sod or hydro mulching will be permitted to start again after Monday, September 21, 2026.

The General Election will be held on November 3rd, with early voting beginning October 19th.

If you are not registered to vote, the deadline to register is October 5th. You can check your voter registration status at www.voterview.org where you can also view a sample ballot.
