On Thursday a few of our members attended ARFF training at the Reading Airport. This included fighting fire on a mock aircraft.

Tonight for training we went out to the river to practice pumping as well as some driver training. While pumping our crew got training on how to use our new Jumbo Siemese valves. These valves allow us to feed a supply line with two different sources. This becomes handy in the early stages of a fire before a permanent water supply gets set up, and can even be beneficial in the event that equipment has to move.
