We are always looking for volunteers to join us. If you love Center Harbor's small town charm and are passionate about preserving its historic properties and cultural resources, we want to meet you! We meet either in the Center Harbor Town House during warm weather, or the Cary Mead Room at Town Hall during the colder months. Our next meeting is December 1st at 5:30 in the Cary Mead Room. Heritage Commission members will be outside EM Heath Supermarket in Center Harbor on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24 (10am-2pm) AND at Moulton Farm, Meredith on Saturday, July 8 (9am-noon) for their 6th Annual Do Good Bonus Card fundraiser: Give $10 to the Heritage Fund - Get $10 Off at The Common Man Restaurants and Company Store. Only a limited number of Bonus Cards are available, and sell out every year. Cash or checks payable to: Town of Center Harbor Heritage Fund accepted. Cards may also be purchased by mail by sending your check to: Karen Ponton, Commissioner, Town of Center Harbor Heritage Commission, PO Box 140, Center Harbor, NH 03226. Cards will be mailed to you in 5 business days. Please donate to the Heritage Fund and help support preserving our local history.

Support our Heritage Commission by purchasing an Historic House Sign for your home for $50. Designed by local artist and Heritage Commissioner Ann Xavier, your sign will be personalized with the name and year your home was built. Your purchase will help preserve our historic places and protect our Town's rural, small town character.

April 25, 2022 - Repair, reglazing and painting of our historic Town House windows is underway. Sashes are removed from three windows at a time and taken off-site for refurbishing. Later, custom storm windows with screens will be installed. This work is funded in part by a $9,750 Moose Plate Grant.....
