Hello Celina, you may have noticed a large police presence in the 3100 block of Sawbuck Lane. This was due to a warrant service conducted by the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Public Safety, and in conjunction with Celina police patrol and Special Investigations Unit.

The wanted subject, one Terry Wayne Bradford, was taken into custody without incident. There will be a continued police presence in the area as they are completing their work.

Stay Safe, Celina.

Buying or selling items online has become part of everyday life, but meeting someone you don’t know can come with risks. In this episode of In the Know, we highlight Celina Police Department's Safe Exchange Zone, located in the front parking lot of Celina Police Headquarters. This designated area is clearly marked and monitored by 24-hour surveillance, providing a safer, more secure location for community members to meet.

The Safe Exchange Zone isn’t just for online purchases and sales. It can also be used for trades, exchanges, and child custody arrangements. Instead of meeting at your home, an unfamiliar location, or a secluded area, residents can take advantage of this convenient public resource right here in Celina.

Before your next transaction or exchange, consider making the Celina Police Department’s Safe Exchange Zone your meeting spot. It’s a simple way to take extra precautions, protect your belongings, and help keep yourself and your family safe.

The Results Are In!

What an incredible turnout for Battle of the Badges. The Celina Police Department is taking home the win!

More importantly, our community came together for an amazing cause, and we have some incredible results to celebrate.

We surpassed our goal!

Our goal was to save 150 lives, and thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected a combined 62 units of blood — enough to potentially save 186 lives!

That’s 36 lives beyond our original goal!

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this event a success. Celina, you showed up in a big way!

Together, we’re making a lifesaving difference, one donation at a time.

What a great time!
We want to say a BIG "Thank You" to Punk Carter and his family and the Celina Chamber of Commerce for hosting the Celina Police Department, Collin County Sheriff's Office McKinney, Texas , and Leadership Celina members for a delicious breakfast!

It was a pleasure to spend time with a Celina staple like Punk and to see his great facility and magnificent horses. We all enjoyed the chance to relax with our fellow law enforcement officers from CCSO and some of our community leaders, and to share fellowship around the table.

It was a wonderful experience, and another reminder of what makes Celina such a great city to live and work in!

Stay Safe, Celina

For the past four weeks, he completed an intensive program built to train the next generation of law enforcement leaders. The program ends today, but the lessons come home to Celina.

Well done, Sgt. R***r. Keep up the good work!

Stay safe, Celina.
