The Preston Trail Rotary Club was honored to present the Ralph O’Dell Scholarship to Avelyn Jensen.

The Ralph O’Dell Scholarship truly embodies β€œService Above Self,” because Ralph is a Rotarian who has never stopped serving others. For him, service was never about recognition; it was about showing up, giving back, and making a difference wherever he could.

As we stood there presenting this scholarship, it felt bigger than an award. It felt like the passing forward of something deeply important, the legacy that serving others leaves behind.

Some scholarships honor achievement, and others honor character. This is one of those scholarships that truly honors character.

Congratulations, Avelyn Jensen. We know this is only the beginning of the impact you will make on the world. πŸ’™

The Student Engagement Committee had a great time with outstanding Moore Middle School students!

We toured downtown, got an inside look at the new building with Swinerton (and enjoyed a great lunchβ€”thank you!), then wrapped up at D & L Farm & Home.
