Over 700 people voted for me! I think I know 50 people in total. I am extremely humbled by this idea.

I’m excited for my kids to wake up today and to tell them that I lost.

It’s important they learn about failure and losing with grace and dignity and about working harder if you want to get the result you want.

Everyone,

I want your child to have the same educational experience as my children.

An experience that is led via fiscal responsibility, a challenging academic experience, and one which is led by a school board with strong community engagement.

I believe that striving for a quality education inside a strong school district leads to a strong community. One which attracts those who go away for higher education and one which retains those who decide to stay and be productive members or our community.

My wife, Jen, and I have two children in Celina Schools. An incoming 7th grade daughter and an incoming 4th grade son. We are proud that they attend Celina City Schools and I hope that, given the opportunity, I can contribute as part of the strong educational system and values that drive our community.
