Recently , the OCSA Jazz Foundation applied for a community grant with the Celebration Foundation. Their mission is to support and sustain excellence in student jazz education at the Osceola County School for the Arts, while expanding access to high-quality music opportunities for young musicians throughout the greater Osceola community.

The Celebration Foundation was proud to award the OCSA Jazz Foundation a community grant in the amount of $1,500 for their Summer Jazz Program for students in grades 7-12.

Our Thriving In Place members sprinkled a little sweetness into their day with a fun cupcake decorating activity! From frosting to toppings, it was an afternoon filled with smiles, creativity, and sweet memories. Thank you to AARP Florida for sponsoring another fun event.

On Tuesday, Thriving In Place hosted its annual Friends Of Thriving event, bringing together a community of supporters who share a passion for making a difference in the lives of our senior residents. Program members, volunteers and family members shared heartfelt stories about the impact Thriving In Place has had, followed by an afternoon of connection, community, and refreshments.

We are so grateful for the generosity and support of our Friends Of Thriving. Together, we are helping our Thriving In Place program members continue to live well, stay connected, and thrive in the community they call home.

Our annual Friends of Thriving event takes place next week on Tuesday, October 13th, and we'd love for you to join us.
