The Les Cheneaux Islands Annual Pickleball Tournament will be held this Saturday, July 25th, at the Detour Village pickleball courts:
400 St Mary’s St, Detour Village

Play begins at 10 am. Come on out and cheer on our participating players! The venue was changed due to resurfacing of the Snows Heritage Park courts.

New book on the Snows Heritage Park Storywalk Nature Trail just in time for Frogfest this Saturday! Cedarville, Michigan

We had a great 4th of July Parade here in Cedarville! The Les Cheneaux Islands PIckleball Club hoped to show the community that there is a pickleball program and courts at Snows Heritage Park. We added 2 new club members! We want to thank our club members who participated and those who supported our event buying water and raffle tickets for a homemade dinner (by Chef Ruthie Sherman!) for 8. We are continually looking for ways to fundraise to improve the courts and grow our club. With help from the Les Cheneaux Community Foundation, Clark Township and our club we have plans to resurface and repaint the pickleball and tennis courts at Snows Heritage Park this summer!

The third annual Community Christmas Tree lighting was a success! Thank you to all those that came out and braved the cold. A huge Thank you to Noel Weaver for his endless hours making the park shine! To all of our sponsors, donors and individuals, we couldn't do it without you. And of course, a huge Thank you to Mr. And Mrs. Claus for making the trip from the North Pole!
