⚠️ POLK SCHOOL DISTRICT FAMILIES: IMPORTANT SUMMER MEAL UPDATE FOR TODAY ⚠️

Due to the potential for inclement weather later this afternoon, we are moving up our summer meal distribution times today to keep our families and staff safe.

⏰ NEW TIME TODAY ONLY: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM or until all meals have been distributed

Please help us spread the word and share this post with other Polk families so everyone can get their meals.

📢 Enrollment for the 2026-2027 School Year is NOW OPEN! 📢

Attention parents and guardians: It’s time to get ready for another fantastic school year! Annual enrollment forms are mandatory for all returning.

Please note that these forms must be completed before your student can participate in the following:

🏫 Attending Open House

📅 Picking up class schedules

🚗 Purchasing a student parking pass

Beating the rush now means a much smoother start to the fall!

This recognition reflects more than academics — it celebrates a school culture built on strong relationships, student support, safety, attendance, and a positive environment where ALL students can thrive.

5th Grade Graduation Part II

Today we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they crossed the stage for graduation! 🎓❤️🖤

We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Cherokee Elementary. They have grown, learned, laughed, worked hard, made memories, and left their mark on our school in such a special way.

As they get ready to take their next big step, we know they are prepared to continue learning, leading, and shining. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog! 🐾
