🚨 CWH COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE WEEKEND 🚨

This is becoming MORE than just a garage sale — it’s becoming a full Catholic Worker House community event! ❤️

June 4th–7th we are turning the corner of 5th Ave & 10th St into a weekend of community, shopping, food, and fellowship while supporting families staying at Catholic Worker House.

We are currently LOOKING FOR DONATIONS:
✨ Furniture & household items
✨ Tools, camping & fishing gear
✨ New clothing & décor
✨ Handmade quilts, crafts & jewelry
✨ Baked goods & 3D printed items

Need donation pickup? We may be able to help arrange it!

🌟 New entrepreneur, crafter, baker, or small business? Reach out about joining the event and growing your business while helping support CWH.

We are also working with local food trucks, bakers, and community partners to make this a fun full weekend event!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You have started our May Cleaning Drive with a bang!! Please know that we are so very thankful for recent donations that brought these terrific cleaning products to our shelves!! Brooms, dust pans, swiffers, wet & dry pads, cleaning cloths and more are still needed. Think of us on your next trip to the store and toss an extra box or bottle in your cart. We appreciate every donation no matter how small.

We will be collecting items for our Pack the Purse event for Mothers Day!! Any personal care items you put in your purse, we need!! Drop off items at the shelter and mention Pack the Purse! This has been a very popular event our clients look forward too! 👜

Just a reminder that the best thing we can do as our clients move on from our emergency shelter, is to support them in getting reestablished. Anything you can contribute will help. If you have garage sale, we would be happy with the leftovers of household items. Doing your spring cleaning, give us a call and we will pickup the small items you no longer need. It doesn’t need to match. It doesn’t need to be new. Something is better than nothing. These 3 families have moved and are still short items to make their place livable. Praying someone, maybe you, can help it all come together.

Several of our families are preparing to move into permanent housing this month, with the first move happening on the 13th.

Central Furniture Warehouse is overwhelmed with requests and low on donations. Can you help our clients?? These lists reflect the real gaps families still face after housing—items that aren’t always covered elsewhere.

We trust that God provides through community, and we are grateful for every way people show up to support these families. We are accepting donations now at the shelter to help make these homes complete and support a successful transition.
