Williamson County Constable, Precinct 2

Williamson County Constable, Precinct 2 As one of the oldest law enforcement positions, the office of Constable has an extensive and fascinating history.

Jeff Anderson is the elected Constable for Williamson County, Precinct 2, proudly serving the communities of Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Florence, and Andice with a focus on service, safety, and trust. From the first Constable appointed by King Alfred the Great in England to the approximately 780 Constables serving Texas today, these stalwart men and women have ruled in medieval

courts, chased cattle thieves in wagons, defended pioneers from Indian attacks, delivered thousands of court papers, and served arrest warrants. The “People’s Police” have suffered many casualties throughout their existence; it is believed that at least ninety-three Texas Constables and their Deputies have died in the line of duty since the mid 1800’s. Although these legendary Peace Officers no longer ride patrols on horseback, they continue to uphold a legacy of courage and justice. Constable Jeff Anderson is a Family Man, Public Servant of Law Enforcement, and proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. Jeff attained a Master Peace Officer and Master Corrections Officer license. Jeff is also a graduate of Sam Houston Stated Leadership Command College (LCC Class number 72 LEMIT), FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association, and the US Air Force Senior Leadership Academy. To remain competitive, Jeff is constantly learning new things. One can always find Jeff creating or assessing a new idea. What is more powerful than one individual focused on a goal? Precinct 2’s Office knows any goal can be reached when approached with passion, integrity, and determination. After then serving nearly 29 years at the Travis County Sheriff's Office, he was sworn into the office of Constable Precinct Two in 01/01/2021. Mission Statement
The Williamson County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office will always strive to professionally, expediently, accurately and diligently process and serve all civil and criminal court documents assigned to this office by the courts of Williamson County and other jurisdictions. 🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, We Remember Together 🇺🇸

Today we gathered for the 14th Annual Heroes Appreciation BBQ. We paused to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation and communities.

To our Veterans, First Responders, Active Duty Military, and especially your families — thank you.

Memorial Day is not only a time of remembrance, but also a time to stand beside one another in gratitude, fellowship, and support.

Behind every hero is a family who has also sacrificed, endured, and served in their own way. This event is for all of you.

Rain or shine we gathered, we came together as one community to remember the fallen, honor the living, and support the families who carry on their legacy every day.

🚨 Fraud Scam Alert – Scammer posing as a bank or bank representative. 🚨

Stay vigilant, everyone! The landscape of fraud is constantly evolving, and it's essential to know what to watch for to protect yourself and your finances. Here are some red flags to be aware of:

1. Unexpected Contact: If you receive a call, email, or message claiming to be from your bank or government agency that you weren't anticipating, be suspicious. Often, scammers impersonate trusted institutions to gain your trust.

2. Requests for Sensitive Information: Legitimate organizations will never ask for your personal or banking details through unsecured channels. Be cautious of any requests to provide bank information or move money. It's always best to verify directly with your institution through official channels.

3. Urgency and Pressure: Scammers use tactics like creating a sense of urgency to make you act quickly, often before you have the time to think. Take a moment to assess the situation and remember that it's okay to say no and hang up.

Your safety is paramount. Always be skeptical, question anything that seems off, and report any suspicious activity.

Let's work together to keep our community safe from fraud!
