Let's talk recycling♻️

Recycling is an important part of our community's conservation efforts, and it helps to reduce landfill waste and other environmental pollutants. Here are some tips for a successful pickup:

Do:
✅Break down cardboard boxes and paper cartons
✅Set your recycling bin three feet apart from other carts/items for easy pickup
✅Ensure that glass and aluminum containers are clean (no food or liquid residue)

Don't:
❌Place plastic bags in your bin (plastic bags can clog processing equipment)
❌Place styrofoam containers, pizza boxes or shredded/wet paper in your bin
❌Place yard waste in your bin (yard trimmings recycling occurs every spring and fall)
