Even on vacation, justice never rests. ⚖️🇮🇹
Last week in Rome, I had the chance to stand in front of the Palazzo di Giustizia, home of Italy’s Supreme Court of Cassation.
As a lawyer, I’m reminded that the legal systems we practice in today weren’t created in a vacuum. They were built over centuries, on ideas, institutions, successes, failures, and the work of those who came before us.
Knowing the law matters. But knowing where the law came from, why it developed, and the history that shaped it matters too.
I may have been on vacation, but apparently the lawyer in me doesn’t take many days off. 😊⚖️
Justice never rests. And neither should our curiosity about it.
