One thing about me is I LOVE an event that’s aesthetic, educational, AND fun!! Our Chamber Member, Friends of the Friary did just that when they partnered with Humane Indiana Wildlife for this Nocturnal Nature Night! I can’t wait to see what they do next?

The Cedar Lake Summerfest Committee are Chamber Members, below is their official statement.

There seems to be some confusion on the role the Chamber plays in Summerfest.

The CLCC is not The Summerfest Committee, we are a limited vendor at the fest like any of the other vendors there.

Our booking decisions are based on verified facts, not rumors, social media speculation, or unsubstantiated allegations. We recognize that misinformation can spread quickly online, and we believe it is important to distinguish between claims and evidence. After conducting our due diligence and reviewing credible, verifiable information, we remain confident in this artist’s participation in the festival. We are committed to fairness, integrity, and making decisions based on facts rather than hearsay. We will not be commenting further on this matter.

WOW!!! What a way to spend the morning!! I cannot say thank you enough to the Chamber Members who came together to work, plan, and donate for this event!! It was incredible and I‘m so proud of our organization & our community!

I hope everyone had fun! Don‘t forget to say thank you to the businesses who donated and volunteered when you see them out and about!
