Come celebrate and honor our heroes with us on Monday, May 25th, with step off at 9:30AM (weather permitting) at Whippany Park High School! We invite everyone to line the streets and show their spirit for our annual parade.

Be sure to keep an eye out for a truly special sight: members of the Hanover Heritage Association will be proudly riding in the historic 100-year-old Kitchel Express truck (1926 Ford Model TT)!

It's a fantastic blend of history and patriotism you won't want to miss.

Let's gather as a community to remember, honor, and pay tribute to those who served. Bring your flags, wear your red, white, and blue, and cheer on all our participants!
We can't wait to see you there!

DID YOU KNOW?

George Washington set up his Headquarters in Whippany in 1780.

After the Battle of Springfield, Washington and the Continental Army Troops stayed at the site on modern-day Whippany Village for three days.

The Hanover Heritage Association would love to see a Washington monument at this site.

Want to learn more? Come to the Whippany Burying Yard on Sunday, May 3rd from 11am-4pm to ask one of the local historians!
