Since the team at Congoleum Flooring couldn't join us at this year's ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day, we were happy to stop by and personally present their well-deserved award!

From product development to full-scale production, New Jersey manufacturers help turn medical innovation into patient care.

HINJ’s President & CEO Chrissy Buteas was proud to present MICRO Corporation (Micro in Somerset NJ) with the Leader in Life Sciences award on behalf of HINJ at NJMEP’s "MADE in NJ" Manufacturing Day at iPlay America in Freehold.

The Somerset-based medical device manufacturer combines a 175,000-square-foot New Jersey operation with a commitment to its people, having upskilled more than 100 employees.

What an incredible way to celebrate 30 years of NJMEP!

This year’s ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day was especially meaningful as hundreds of manufacturers, industry partners, legislators, students, and supporters joined us to celebrate New Jersey manufacturing, NJMEP’s 30th Anniversary, and America’s 250th.

The energy throughout the day was incredible. From keynote presentations exploring labor statistics and the history of manufacturing to industry-focused breakout sessions, we wanted the program to reflect the many different conversations shaping manufacturing today.

We celebrated our ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day Award finalists and winners, showcased our workforce team and training capabilities, and even gave attendees an opportunity to get hands-on with welding equipment.

Most importantly, we brought our manufacturing community together.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, partners, staff, and everyone who joined us and helped make the day possible.

For 30 years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting New Jersey manufacturers. After a day like this, we’re more excited than ever for what comes next.
