25 YEARS
Twenty-five years have passed since the American way of life came under attack.
Today, we pause, reflect, and honor the innocent lives lost and the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.
In the days, weeks, and months that followed, America stood together. Flags everywhere. Communities united.

Today, many new firefighters, paramedics, and police officers were born after 9/11. They know the history, but they never experienced that day firsthand. That makes it even more important that we continue to tell the story.

We must remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost. We must remember the first responders who gave everything trying to save others. We must remember the sacrifices made in the days, months, and years that followed.
Twenty-five years later, their sacrifice still matters. Their stories still matter.

Please join us in welcoming to the fulltime ranks, Paramedic Lillian O. This weekend marks her first fulltime, 48-hour rotation. Lillian began with us part-time in 2022 when she completed her EMT schooling. In that time, she achieved her Paramedic Licensure and we have watched her grow as a prehospital clinician. She follows in the footsteps of her parents and other family members as a first responder and healthcare provider.

Congratulations Lillian, welcome to A-Crew!

An overdose can be a frightening event to witness, people are often afraid to call for help. Missouri Good Samaritan Laws encourage people to call 911 without fear of repercussions. As EMS, we treat all people as people. Life is our mission.

Thank you Northwest R-I School District. A strong partnership and coordination between all of the agencies and school district is beneficial for responses of all variations. We are proud to support Lion Nation.

An emotional tribute to local first responders opened Northwest’s latest board meeting, recognizing the men and women who work behind the scenes to keep students safe. The district also accepted a major digital scoreboard donation from Barnhart-based Piros Signs, saving Northwest roughly half a million dollars, while new Superintendent Dr. Kyle Gibbs continues building connections across the district.
