Summer Learning Camp at JBES. Students have been engaged in hands-on learning through exciting activities like making dinosaur toothpaste, creating super creative potato projects, theater company visited, and participating in thoughtful Socratic seminars. It has been wonderful to see their creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills on display as they learn and grow together this summer! 🦖🥔📚✨

The Science Guy helped make it an unforgettable morning at JBES Summer Learning Camp! Students were engaged, excited, and learning through hands-on science fun all morning long. Thank you for bringing energy, excitement, and amazing experiments to our students! 🧪🔬✨

Happy Fri-YAY!! We had a busy day at JBES. In Family Friday we had lots of celebrations. Today we recognized the following: 5th graders leaving us and going to middle school 😢, house point leaders that earned the reward trip, the 4th grade team had the most points as teachers and got to pick their schedule, the house of Onraka won for the year, we recognized those that had perfect attendance that will get a pizza party next week, and the city of Cedar Hill provided pizza to all of JBES. We are extremely thankful for all the memories made today!! 🧡💛💜🖤

Field Day part 2

Part 1: What an incredible Field Day today! Our students had an absolute blast, and the day would not have been possible without so many people coming together to help make it a success. Huge shoutout to Coach G and Coach PK for planning and organizing all of the amazing games and activities! Thank you to all of the JBHS students who volunteered their time and energy to help throughout the day. We also appreciate every staff member, parent, and volunteer who pitched in, encouraged students, and helped everything run smoothly. It was a great day filled with fun, teamwork, laughter, and school spirit!

Happy Thursday!! Remember that tomorrow is the last Kona of the year. Online payments Will cut off tonight at 10pm. Also, tomorrow is our last Family Friday for those within the building if you would like to wear your house colors.
