Graduate Assistantships (GA's) are offered all over UNI's campus, from University Housing and Dining, Admissions, Annual Giving, Undergraduate Studies, and more!

GA's at UNI get a ton of great perks, including:
-Automatic in-state tuition
-Competitive pay for your work
-Some GA's, in particular University Housing and Dining, offer housing options, meal plans and more!

There are tons of reasons to want to join the Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs masters program at UNI!

One of our favorite reasons are Graduate Assistantship opportunities! Graduate Assistantships, or GA's, are a fantastic way to get involved at UNI, work directly with students all across campus in different functional areas, and get amazing experiences you can bring back to the classroom each week!

We have connections all across campus, including offices such as Admission, International Admission, Undergraduate Studies, Housing and Dining, Registrar and so much more!

What are the benefits of having a GA?
-Automatic in-state tuition (regardless of whether you are from Iowa or not)
-Great pay for your work, with some positions offering $1,000 per month in pay
- Some areas, like Housing and Dining, offer scholarships for graduate assistants! Along with that, you'll get your monthly stipend and your housing and meal cost covered!

Welcome back to another amazing school year!

We are so excited to welcome our brand new students to the PSE: Student Affairs first year cohort. Our students are eager and excited to get started at UNI and become the best student affairs administrators they can be! We even got to have a little get together on the first night of class with our first and second year cohort!

Even though it has been a few days since our amazing Hooding Ceremony for our graduating students, we still want to celebrate their achievements!

Thank you to all of our wonderful graduating students for your impact on this program, The University of Northern Iowa and the institutions you now serve in!

Since it's summer, we won't be posting much. But we'll be back in the fall for all things PSE: Student Affairs!
