Excessive Heat Wave Advisory!! With temperatures reaching 108 degrees, don’t forget to HIKE SMART!

HIKE SMART means making sure you have enough water and cover from the sun and are prepared for your trip.

There are water bottle refilling stations throughout the park, and you can find reusable water bottles, sunscreen, hats, and gear at the park store in the Visitor Center.

Stay safe and enjoy the park.

There’s no place quite like Bryce Canyon by day, and no time like a new moon in June to enjoy it by night!

🌌 Our 2022 Astronomy Festival runs from Wednesday, June 22 through Saturday, June 25. After a two-year hiatus, we're excited to announce the return of a stargazing telescope field in addition to our daytime and evening programming.

We're also thrilled to welcome keynote speakers Dean Regas from the Cincinnati Observatory as well as Bill Ochs, James Webb Space Telescope Project Manager, and Begoña Vila, Webb Instrument Systems Engineer!

As always, the festival is free with park admission. We hope to see you there!

This post breaks down the planning process and some good things to keep in mind while providing a variety of maps for this trip that we loved! Everything from a round trip, one focusing on back roads only, and more.

I've spent the past decade filming US National Parks. Here's why the Utah National Parks Road trip is the best & how to do it right.

Some of the country's most beautiful sights can be seen from roads in national parks, like Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park.
