Closed, The Splash Pad is closed, Thursday, June 11th. It will be closed until at least noon on Friday while chemicals balance. While we regret having to do this, we really want to have the Splash Pad open for Cedar Days and to get everything corrected this is our best course of action.
The gates are locked. The features will be running while we are working through this process.

Open. The splash pad is open.
We will be checking the chemical levels frequently. If the splash pad will not turn on it is for your safety. Someone will be down shortly to check it.

Tuesday: Closed, The Splash Pad is currently closed. Please check back for an update after lunch 🤞
Explanation: The Cedar Bluffs Splash Pad is run on a 4,000 gallon recirculating tank. This means that it is state/county regulated, it's in a transition right now, because it has to be chemically balanced due to the recirculation. Cedar Bluffs has to have Licensed Pool Operators monitor the chemical levels at the Splash Pad when it opens and every 4 hours while it is operating.
When levels are out of regulation we have to close the Splash Pad. Between Sunday and Monday there was an influx of Chlorine to the Splash Pad.
Monday morning chemicals were not testing right and the Splash Pad was closed and did not open for the day.
All of the sensors have been replaced and calibrated, filters replaced, many of the gauges were replaced during this shut down. We will continue to work on getting the features that are not working up and going as parts arrive.
Once the chemicals are balanced we will make a post that the splash pad is open. Thank you for your patience if you made this far 😉
