West Hardin Middle School Girls Basketball Open Gym starts Monday, June 1st! If you’ll be enrolled at WHMS for the 2026-27 school year, you are eligible to attend. We ask that any girl planning to attend complete this Google form: https://forms.gle/xRWq5jZkur2o3dim9

Meet your 2026–2027 Lakewood SBDM candidates! 🎉

Make your voice heard and be part of the decision-making process!

In-person voting will take place Monday, June 1, and Tuesday, June 2, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM in the main office.

Voters must have a student enrolled for the 2026–2027 school year.

We look forward to seeing you!

➡️All student items that have been left at school—including report cards and any personal belongings—must be picked up by 3:00 PM tomorrow.

Anything remaining after that time will be discarded.

Please make arrangements to stop by before the deadline if your student has items still here. Thank you for your help!

Our 5th graders took their final walk through the halls, soaking in the memories and saying goodbye to the place where so many friendships and foundations were built.

We are so proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish next. Once a Bruin, always a Bruin! 🐾

🐾 Big paws and bigger hearts! 🐾

Last week, the Lakewood Beta Club was thrilled to welcome Nolin River Wildlife to accept a donation of over $1,000, all raised by our amazing students during Coin Wars! 🪙✨

To say thank you, the rescue center brought along a few special furry friends to meet everyone at Lakewood. The absolute highlight? We were officially the very first group to meet Lobo, their newest wolf hybrid pup rescue! 🐺❤️

Huge shoutout to everyone who contributed to Coin Wars—your change is making a massive difference for these incredible animals!
