We would like to pass along a Heartfelt Thank You to everyone who attended our annual Fireman’s Gun Raffle, once again making it a successful night. We appreciate all the donations and most importantly a Thank you to our Firefighters,spouses and family you helped set up,clean up and bake some goodies. We cannot express our sincere gratitude for everyone who supported us, ALL money made will be directed to equipment upgrades and training.

Wednesday night we were honored to have Rep. Tony Kurtz attend our meeting and present Firefighter Ethan Spencer with a certificate of appreciation for his service to the CFD. Ethan was nominated for first responder of the year in our district, even though he was not selected he was presented with this citation for his service given and continued service. Ethan is always quick to respond to any call and always willing to go above and beyond in any situation. We are very proud and fortunate for Ethan’s dedication to the CFD and to our community, as we are for all of our CFD Firefighters and EMTS, we also appreciate Rep. Tony Kurtz for presenting this award, sitting in on our meeting and listen to any concerns. Rep. Kurtz has been a big advocate for small town Fire and Ems Depts for funding and training- Thank you!

Shout out to to Colin Nolden from Baraboo Fire Department and Rope Rescue Team to attend last nights meeting and give members of the CFD and a few from Reedsburg Fire Dept a refresher on ropes and variety of knots to use in different scenarios that we may encounter on a scene. We appreciate the help from our mutual aid partners Richland Center and Hillpoint Fire Dept for the remote brush fire last night! We appreciate your time and UTVs but most importantly your legs! 😁 Thank You! This was a challenging fire to access, UTVs and handwork won the battle!
