Cayce Avenues Drainage Project

Cayce Avenues Drainage Project Cayce continues to serve as part of the solution for the drainage concerns of our Avenues residents!

We understand the urgency and concern of our citizens as their homes and their property is their largest investment. In Cayce, we value low cost of living and strive to maintain this for our citizens. To serve as the sole source of funding needed to fully fix this astronomical infrastructure problems would mean a drastic tax increase. Instead, we have taken the approach of serving as a part of the

solution to the concerns of our citizens with the runoff from our State and County owned roads! Follow along to find out how our local government works for you!

Beginning July 21, the N Ave entry will be temporarily closed to allow for the construction of a new stormwater culvert as part of the Cayce Avenues Drainage Project.

As the City of Cayce is committed to being part of the solution, this essential infrastructure improvement is designed to enhance long-term safety and drainage in the area.

The closure is expected to remain in effect through late 2025, or until construction is complete and the site is deemed safe for public access.

During this time, the Riverwalk will remain open and accessible via the following alternate entrances:

321 Lyles Street (public parking available at 1908 State Street)

Thomas Newman Boat Landing, located at the end of Granby Landing Road (off Old State Road)
