We’re all ready for summer fun, but Oklahoma weather may have other plans this weekend!

Severe weather is possible Friday and Saturday, with strong winds and large hail being the primary threats. If you’re heading out for ballgames, cookouts, lake trips, or other weekend activities, make sure you stay weather aware and have a plan in place.

Keep an eye on forecasts, enable weather alerts, and know where to seek shelter if storms develop.

April was no joke… and apparently neither were the 108 Calls For Service Oak Grove Fire responded to last month. From medical emergencies and wildland fires to structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, and even a boat rescue or two (because why not, right), our crews stayed busy all month long.

May is already keeping us on our toes, and we’re ready for whatever severe weather decides to throw our way next. Oklahoma weather may be unpredictable, but your Oak Grove Fire crews are always ready to answer the call. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stepped up and served our community throughout April!
