Today is the day. Be sure and head to your polling place today between 7am-7pm and cast your vote to re-elect Derrick Smith to the Catoosa School Board! He will continue to work hard the students, teachers, staff of our school district, as well as the community!

It’s 11:15PM on Monday night and I am sitting in our living room listening to the thunderstorm outside. The campaigning is done. All the posts have been posted, messages sent, and doors knocked on. I feel that we have spread my message to the best of our ability and now it is God’s hands. I want to thank everyone for all their support and words of encouragement over the past few months and we will see what happens tomorrow. No matter what happens, I know that every thing that happens will happen for a reason! Everyone have a great night and a great day tomorrow!

One week from today, the voters of Catoosa will head to their polling place to cast a vote for the Catoosa Schools Board of Education and I am asking for your vote. I have served this district for two years and I would be honored to continue to do so. The success of the children in our district is priority number one for me! I will continue to work for the students, teachers, parents, and community. I appreciate all of your support!

My name is Derrick Smith and I am running for re-election to the Catoosa Public Schools Board of Education. It has been an honor serving our community, and I am deeply committed to continuing the important work we've started together.
As a proud parent of three children who are students in the Catoosa school district and as a husband to a wife who is a proud graduate of Catoosa, I have a personal stake in ensuring that our schools provide the best possible education for every single child. Our family's ties to this community run deep, and I am dedicated to making sure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
As a member of the Board of Education, I have always prioritized transparency, accountability, and inclusivity. I believe that every member of our community deserves to have their voice heard, and I will continue to be a strong advocate for open communication and collaboration.
Together, we can build on the progress we've made and ensure that our schools remain a source of pride for our community. With your support, I am confident that we can continue to make Catoosa Public Schools the best they can be.

Check out the Wells Middle School newsletter! All these kids do a great job, but there is one article in here that caught my attention! Anna told me she was working on some thing, but wouldn’t tell me what it was. She did an outstanding job! I am so proud of her!!
