Congratulations to Chief Cameron Logan on his retirement. Chief Logan dedicated 20 years of service to the residents of the City of Catlettsburg and Boyd County.

Throughout the course of his career he had many achievements but one of his proudest was helping to establish the Catlettsburg Police Shop with a Cop program. This program has benefited many children in the community and we will proudly carry on this tradition.

Thank you for your service and best wishes on your future endeavors.

Today was a huge success with Shop with a Cop and Fireman. We thank everyone that has donated to this great cause to put smiling faces on less fortunate children for Christmas. Myself, Chief Cameron Logan want to thank everyone again that has donated towards this great cause.

Congratulations and thank you to Assistant Chief, Gerry Hatzel, who retired today from the Catlettsburg Police Department after 18 years of service with 34 years combined service in law enforcement.

His career has been marked by dedication and service. More importantly, he’s made a lasting difference in the lives of colleagues and the community.

Gerry, congratulations on your well-earned retirement! Thank you for your service, and best wishes for all that lies ahead.

Please don’t drink and drive. A Catlettsburg Police Officer was hit head on a little bit ago by a drunk driver. Officer is okay after evaluated at the hospital and the driver of the other vehicle was treated and released with multiple charges!
