Each year Room 3 concludes the school year with Fairy Tale writing. Students selected their favorite fairy tales and created their own silly adaptations, adding plenty of creativity, humor, and imagination along the way. To complete their projects, they designed beautiful cover pages that brought their stories to life. It is always a fun way to celebrate all the growth our young authors have made throughout the year! 📚✨

🐒🦁🐢🐘Yesterday, our TK through 2nd graders had an awesome field trip to the zoo! We lucked out with a gorgeous overcast day keeping it cool & really enjoyable! We saw it all from monkeys & a baby rhino 🥹 to flamingoes! Some of our favorite things to see & do: touching the stingrays & petting the goats! 🐐🦏🦒🦩

🌟 What a beautiful night on campus! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Open House & Concert! Blankets on the field, students singing and sharing their original songs, classrooms full of student art & work to show their families…this is one of our favorite community traditions! 🎶

A heartfelt thank you to our music teacher Gail Dreifus for the incredible work she does with our students all year, and to our teachers and staff for preparing their classrooms and campus so beautifully for families tonight! 💙

Special shoutout to David for handling the sound and making sure every performance shined! 🎛️

Our 3rd and 4th graders spent the day exploring Raw Roots Farm and learning firsthand about the natural systems that help farms thrive. They discovered the main predators found in Catheys Valley, the primary pollinators that support plant growth, the important role flowers play on farms, and what ecology means in the world around them.

Students also learned how high tunnels work and how nutrient-rich creek water helps create healthy soil. To top it all off, they shared some extra love with the farm’s chickens and dogs— a favorite part of the day for many! Thank you, Lauren and Andrew!

5th & 6th graders recently had a wonderful day exploring the vernal pools in Merced with Ms. Messick and Joy Baccei. Students observed unique plant and animal life, learned about these rare seasonal wetlands, and experienced hands-on science out in the field. A beautiful day of learning and discovery!
