Catawba is a small Town in the heart of the beautiful Catawba Valley in the Western Piedmont of North Carolina. It is one of only two municipalities in Catawba County that borders the Catawba River. Catawba is approximately twenty minutes from Hickory, one hour from Charlotte, and just over one and a half hours from the mountains. Whether you would enjoy a nice picnic in the park, boating on the Catawba River, a cool glass of lemonade on a hot summer day, or a delicious meal, this town is for you! Catawba certainly has small town charm. If you are thinking about visiting, we encourage you to experience all that Catawba has to offer!

Riding through and around Catawba this morning. We are all blessed for the small towns, country roads, farms, and lots of down to earth good people. In a short drive I found Sweeter than honey Farm Stand with a shack full of goodies ran off of the honorary system, an awesome Livermush and egg sandwich made in a matter minutes at the Gold Mine, and a group of neighbors who may look different, believe different and act different but yet they can still all get along and shake hands when they depart. What a great ride on a beautiful Saturday morning. Wishing you and yours a happy and blessed day and weekend! 🌞
