What a wonderful week at ’s Place, LLC!

This week included community outings, practicing shopping skills, making purchases, and building independence through real-life experiences. We also enjoyed a sweet treat at our local Castroville favorite, Que Suave Ice Cream where we enjoyed their delicious homemade ice cream served in cannoli shells.

I’m also very grateful for the recent inquiries about our program. Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Finding the right fit for each individual is important, and I appreciate the opportunity to connect with families and caregivers.

We currently have openings available and would love to share more information.

Another beautiful week at CJA’s Place, LLC is in the books. ❤️

This week was filled with community outings, library visits, crafts, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Our special needs community is incredibly special. I truly believe each person is created by God with purpose and a unique light that makes this world better. The joy, love, and friendships shared here are a reminder that every life is precious and every person matters.

Grateful for another blessed week. 💙💛

It was a short week, due to Memorial Day Holiday and still had lots of fun! We enjoyed outings to the library, Dollar Tree, a couple of trips to San Antonio, and plenty of activities at the center.

And I forgot to take pictures but sometimes we’re busy staying active and having fun that we forget to capture the moments!

We’re thankful for another wonderful month and look forward to what’s ahead. 🌟

Another fabulous week at CJA’s Place! 💙

This week was filled with fun, engagement, creativity, and community. Our besties enjoyed outings to the library, Dollar Tree, and Walmart, along with games, group activities, arts and crafts at the center, and continuing to work toward their individual goals each day.

We are also gearing up for the upcoming 4th of July Parade here in Castroville, Texas, and have already started preparing decorations and parade ideas with our besties. 🇺🇸

Today’s highlight was having the honor of attending the ribbon cutting and open house for Country Paradise Living, LLC in Poteet, Texas. It was such a special event surrounded by family and friends as the owners begin their journey of serving the IDD community through their new ISS program.

It was such a welcoming and special day, and we look forward to future socials, outings, and opportunities to support one another as we continue to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

At CJA’s Place, we truly believe this community is about connection, compassion, support, and collaboration. Serving adults with IDD is something very close to our hearts, and we are grateful to build friendships and relationships with others who share the same passion and purpose.

Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend with family and friends as we also take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

What a fantastic week at CJA’s Place with our besties! 💙

This week we enjoyed time at the library, community outings, and a special visit to the Steinbach Haus Visitor Center in Castroville, Texas. The Alsatian Steinbach Haus is a beautiful landmark originally built in Alsace, France between 1618–1648 and later gifted to Castroville in 1998. Our besties truly enjoyed learning and exploring this landmark together!

We wrapped up the week with a fun Friday outing to Hondo, Texas, and couldn’t be more thankful for another beautiful week together. 🫶

This week at CJA’s Place, LLC was full of fun, friendship, and special moments with our besties! 💛

One highlight was getting to see beautiful horses visit Panther Plaza on Thursday. Our besties loved it! 🐴

On Friday, we had the opportunity to tour another center and visit some new friends. After our visit, our CJA’s Place besties enjoyed a relaxing lunch together at the park. 🌳

We also stopped by UTLEY Speech Therapy where we had a chance to meet and visit with Ms. Olga’s therapy dog, Mila.

Our neighboring businesses are so welcoming and willing to share special experiences with our besties. 🐾 🐴

As we end the week, we want to wish all the amazing moms a very Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷

We’re also excited to share that we’ve already received interest from potential new besties, and we look forward to welcoming more friends to CJA’s Place soon! 💛

We’re proud to be a plaza filled with hardworking local business owners serving Medina County and supporting one another along the way. Small businesses are built with dedication, sacrifice, passion, and heart — and Panther Plaza is full of it.

I wanted to reintroduce our services for adults with IDD.
CJA’s Place LLC is licensed for ISS (Individual Skills and Socialization). Additionally, for those enrolled with Hill Country MHDD, we are ready to provide:
*Community Support
*Day Habilitation

We currently have 4 spots available! To ensure the highest quality of care with our current staffing, we are specifically accepting new Besties with a Level of Need (LON) of 1 or 5.
If your loved one is looking for a place to grow and socialize and falls within these levels, we would love to hear from you!
