Multiple Police, Fire and EMS agencies will be at Castlewood High School tomarrow morning for the annual high school prom promise.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Miles Family who tragically lost there son Issac Griffin in a water accident. Issac reacted to a young lady drowning with out thought or hesitation he jumped in and saved the kids life tragically he lost his in doing so. Thats a hero in our openion. Issac did not have any life insurance and his parent Danny and Donna are asking for help for the burial. Danny is a member of Scott County Life Saving Crew having served for several years. Danny and Donna have given there all in peoples times of need. Now its time to give back to them. Any donations can be paid to Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, go fund me, or cash app. Listed below in comments.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our Life Members Dixie Mitchell. Dixie was always at the station before she got sick and always made sure we had plenty to eat. She is now with her lord and savior above and I can hear her and Jean Wright now arguing over who the better cook was..lol...rest easy Dixie til we meet again.

A big thank you to everyone that came out and donated blood today at our station and Marsh Blood Bank. Your generous donations helped save countless lives. We will have an updated number of donations in the next couple of days. We are blessed to be able to partner with Marsh and help our area also. We will be doing this again in the near future so follow us on Facebook for more opportunities to donate.

We have units responding along with multiple other agencies to assist Lebanon Fire Department with a working structure fire at the Super 8 Motel. Please be aware if you must travel in that area.

Update...
The fire has been extinguished and crews are working on clearing from the call.
