The Anchor Food Pantry Assisting local families during times of need by providing food, clothing and spiritual support. # # ONLY OPEN ON THE 1st SAT. OF THE MONTH # #

The Anchor is both a Food Pantry and a Thrift Store. The Food Pantry – Provides families and individuals with emergency food. The Thrift Shop – Offers affordable fashions and household items to all bargain hunters. Proceeds support CCMS.

**Special Programs**
Back to School – Enables children to begin school with needed supplies. Backpack Program- Provides food for needy children for weekends and

holidays when school meals are not available. (In conjunction with the Schodack Central Schools). Crop Walk – Raises funds to end hunger worldwide and in our own community. Thanksgiving Baskets – Guarantees holiday fare for all. Christmas Shop – Enables families in need to obtain appropriate gifts and toys. Easter Baskets – Make a child's springtime celebration possible.
