To all:

I want to level set on expectations from Councilmember Hollingshead and me. We are happy to provide semi-consistent updates to this group - We do not want to keep answering the same questions over again, yet, it is important to us that you know what is happening and you are comfortable. There are a lot of opinions listed here (the other post), this creates confusion, deferring to certain people here with strong opinions either way is a waste of time. Please note a few items of importance to get real answers and information:

· Please watch our video from 1/9/23 below – Ryan Hollingshead & Kevin Bracken - Castle Rock Town Council, District 3

o Homelessness in Castle Rock
o The Rock Church Zoning
o St. Francis Church Zoning
o Traffic calming program
o Speed bumps
· Town Council Meetings are the first and 3rdTuesday of the month
o Come and participate live in Town Hall – Your welcome to attend and speak during the beginning of our meetings during unscheduled public comments
o You can watch on the cable network channel 22 I believe, the next day
o You can join Council meetings live online, https://crgov.com/2841/Council-Agendas
· Notes so you don’t have to read the other confusing thread and comments
o There is a meeting tonight at The Rock Church at 6:00
o Commissioner Laydon will attend, I will attend as well
o The Rock church is NOT zoned for housing
o Most of the Town Council (Tim Dietz supports) is not interested in changing the zoning for 208 housing units – this includes:
§ Outreach programs
§ Women’s center
§ Family center
§ Homeless
§ Low income for “Fire fighters and teacher” (no one believes this to be true)
o Questions to ask Commissioner Laydon
§ What are your successes with the County
§ Does the County support financially the Rock Church in any way?
§ Does the County plan to support the Rock Church financially in any way?
§ Do you personally support housing at the Rock Church?
§ What involvement does the County have with the Rock Church?

Homeless Initiative Meeting: Forward to time 1hr 54min 1:54 To see Town Council Member Tim Dietz looking to re-zone Castle Rock for a Homeless shelter. He will "do whatever it takes, because he doesn't care what people think. it doesn't bother him." He will "work with the zoning manager to find a place in Castle Rock. he pushes and gets things done and he will push." Watch for yourself. I do not thinks this opinion represents the Town Castle Rock or Town Council, accept for one Council Members view.

The Rock Church held a Service today and said that they are trying to collaborate with Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. They prayed and put up FR Chances pic on the screen. I spoke with the Mayor today and he spoke with Mike 2 days ago and was told "Mike told me he has no plans for a shelter at the Rock Church" Also, FR. Chance announced the relationship with a shelter at the Rock Church today at mass. Please understand that the rock church is not zoned for a homeless shelter and I have no intention of rezoning this to a homeless shelter. Or lower income housing "In air quotes" they have been stating that there are 124 families living in their cars in Castlerock. This is not true. This is a platform to create interest. I am setting a meeting with Fr. Chance at his availability - stay tuned
