As the City of Helotes continues to grow and attract new businesses, strong partnerships between the city, county, and local chamber of commerce become even more important.

I was pleased to provide remarks and share county updates at this year’s State of the City event hosted by the Helotes Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Deputy Sheriff's Association of Bexar County does so much to support our deputies and their families throughout the year.

This year’s annual ACT Memorial Golf Tournament raised more than $100,000 to support them through medical assistance, mental health initiatives, scholarships, and community givebacks. These efforts make a real difference for the men and women who serve and protect our community every day.

I was also humbled to receive a special plaque recognizing my support of their important mission. I’m grateful for the partnership of the Deputy Sheriff’s Association and proud to stand behind those who dedicate their lives to public service.
