the Emery County Archives! 🎉 They're using their grant to digitize materials that document the origins of local irrigation systems, including canal company minutes, incorporation papers, and photographs. These records tell the story of how water shaped life and agriculture in the region—something still relevant in today’s climate conversations.

Emery County Archives announces the completion of digitizing the irrigation records of the Ferron/Molen Canal companies.
On December 13, 2023 Matt Brunsvik, of W.J. Marriott Library reported that they have have finished digitizing and are now uploading the content online. These fascinating records will be back in the Emery County Archives on March 4,2024.
This project is made possible through a grant from the Utah State Historical Records Advocacy Board (USHRAB) and Nationally Historic Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) The USHRAB is administered by the Utah State Archives. Find and like us on social media at:
