Water Street (Fri) May 22nd in the AM for a short time, section starting at Dyer Ln to Spring St - local residents in this area beyond 80 Water St please travel with caution 'wrong way' until road returns to normal.

Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 25th – Please join us in Castine’s Memorial Day Parade led by the Castine Town Band – Parade begins at the Castine Cemetery entrance on Court St at 10:00am and will proceed in to the cemetery for wreath laying at the flagpole, prayer and music before continuing to the Town Common for recital of the Gettysburg Address and wreath laying at the monument. Town band will continue leading parade down to Town Dock for remembrance speeches, playing of TAPS and laying memorial wreath on the water. Castine Touring Company will be available for transportation assistance. Rain location is Emerson Hall at 10:30am.
