Today's latest task. Our trailer was hard to see at night while backing up and maneuvering in tight areas. We fixed that with a full row of bullet ambers. Then we added some emergency strobes to the top and rear!Very pleased with the outcome! All done right here at Station 21

Well folks! Brush and Engine 21 handled Call #40 for the month of May! A large farm tractor broke down on the mountain blocking a lane of travel!

A busy day for us in the valley! We answered 5 calls for service.

1. Todd Twp 420am- Tree down with a vehicle striking it! Brush and Special Unit 21 handled. No vehicle was found but the crew shut the road way down before turning the scene over to penndot.

2. Tree down 6am. Brush 21 was alerted for a tree down in Clay Twp assisting Co 12. Brush and Ambulance went enroute and was placed available enroute.

3. Medical Emergency Union Twp. Special Unit 21 handled

4. Medical Emergency Cass Twp. Special Unit 21 handled

5 Landing Zone for Stat Med in Cass Twp. Engine 21 handled.

We have answered 144 calls for service to date! Today was call number 34 for the month!

🔥 Generator Fire🔥 Box 21-5

Huntingdon County Struck the Borough box for a reported Generator/ Shed Fire. Engine 21 was out the door in 3 mins. Engine 21 arrived and found a single story commercial health facility with nothing showing.
Chief 21 had crew pull a line to the D side of the structure where a large Generator was located. Crew opened up and found an antifreeze line blown and a circulation motor melted. The crew killed all power to the generator including the propane fuel source! Chief 21 held the box to 21 units. Staff informed Safety officer 21 of an odor of something in the facility. Engine Crew then took readings and found a low CO content within the building. Crew ventilated for 20 mins until levels returned to normal. The box was then placed available.
Tanker 21 and Special Unit 21 were also out on this call. Total Manpower - 12
