We understand how frustrating it is when we close the dark sky viewing at Dr. Lawless Park due to clouds, rain, smoke, or emergency condition. For your convenience, we have compiled a listing of recommended observatories, dark sky viewing sites and dark sky parks that you can contact in case they have a clearer view or better weather than we are experiencing. Please keep in mind other areas may also observe closures for weather or hours of operation. Sure hope this helps:
