Please note that our regularly scheduled Thursday Storytime at CDL’s Main Branch (September 10th at 11:00 AM) has been canceled. While storytime won't be happening that morning, the children's area will still be open for playing, reading, and exploring! 🧸

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸✨

All CDL branches are closed today, Monday, September 7th, in observance of the holiday. We will reopen with normal hours tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8th.

While our doors are closed, our digital library is always open! You can download e-books, listen to audiobooks, or stream movies 24/7 with your library card on Libby and Hoopla. 📚🎧🍿

Looking ahead to next week? Please note that Thursday Storytime at CDL’s Main Branch scheduled for September 10th at 11:00 AM has been canceled. 📚

While our scheduled storytime won't be happening that morning, our doors will be wide open! You are still more than welcome to bring your little ones by to explore the children's section, play with our early learning toys, or cozy up in a reading nook with a stack of picture books. 🧸✨

Our staff will be on hand and happy to help your family find your next favorite read!

Happy Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸✨

In observance of Labor Day, all CDL branches will be closed on Monday, September 7th. We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

While our doors are closed, our digital library is always open! You can stream movies, download e-books, or listen to audiobooks 24/7 through Libby and Hoopla using your library card. 📚🎧🍿

Jon will present "A History of Cass County's 19th Century Newspapers," exploring early local journalism and the stories that shaped our region’s history.

We invite you to come this afternoon to the opening of our brand-new Makerspace at the Edwardsburg Branch! Got a project in mind, or just curious about how 3D printers work? Come hang out, ask questions, experiment, and make something awesome. 🛠️✨

📍 Where: Edwardsburg Branch (26964 Main Street, Edwardsburg, MI 49112)
📅 When: Tuesday, Sept 1 – Thursday, Sept 3
⏰ Lab Hours: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

No experience? No problem! Makers of all skill levels are welcome. You’ll get free access to equipment, digital design tools, and STEM resources. Our friendly library staff, like makerspace Coordinator James Turner, will be on hand to guide you through safety and help launch your projects. 🤖💡
