Sidewalks on Front between Langer and 8th are usable. Barricades to buffer people from construction will be installed yet this week. Our downtown businesses are working through disruptions to continue to serve you!

Front Street Forward: 6/2/26 Update

All downtown businesses and sidewalks remain open! Langer also remains open at this time. Keep enjoying downtown Casselton while we work to make the experience even better!

Work on 8th Street is well underway; in fact a block of 8th Street is gone as crews prepare to update the underground infrastructure. This closure is expected to be in place for approximately 60 days.

Front Street from 8th Ave to just shy of Langer is closed as of this week; planned to last approximately 60 days.

The plan is to work on 2 segments (blocks) at a time. Each block is scheduled to take 60 days with no more than two block out of commission at a time. Sidewalks will remain open all summer, with the exception of a three-day window for sidewalk concrete pours. We'll give community-wide advance notice of sidewalk work happening.

In preparation for road construction, we have e opened the drive-thru in the alley! There is a buzzer there so let us know how we can help! We can open the back door if u want to come in to shop or just hand you items as construction progresses our way. We are supposed to have front door access also- just not sure how that is going to work yet.

A salad bar will be included with all meals and the menu will continue to be different each week throughout the summer!

One of the biggest requests we recieve are more food options, so we are excited to try some new items out as we build on the services we are able to offer at your local Vets Club!

The John Woell farmstead is a sort of landmark to the people of Casselton. Now Steve and Stacy Link want to transform the property into a place of heritage cabins, farm-to-table dinners and saunas.
