Leech Lake Housing Authority

Leech Lake Housing Authority Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Board develops policy for the administration to utilize in the day-to-day operations of the Housing Authority.

History

The Leech Lake Housing Authority was formed by the Leech Lake Reservation Business Committee on September 1, 1963 (Ordinance 63-01) and has been in existence for over 50 years to date. The reformation of a Housing Authority and in independent Board of Commissioners, consisting of six (6) Band Members is a requirement to enter into funding contracts through the U.S. Governing Body

ch Lake Housing Authority is governed by a Board of Commissioners comprised of 6 Band Members, two members are elected from each district to represent the constituents residing in that district. Currently the Board meets two times a month to conduct business.

Green Tickets will start Monday June 1st! Keep a look out for these, (this one is an example) if you receive one or two....maybe three of these tickets, you will be entered into the 4 tenant drawings on June 30th, we will be going live on our page for a "bundle of camping gear", Just in time for the July 4th Pow wow!! 🎉🎆 We appreciate all of our tenants who take care of their yard! We hope you have been by the Heritage Elderly building recently, if not we want to share the amazing upgrade of, a new roof, siding, windows and some added outdoor furniture🩵. Once we are complete at Heritage, we will be doing work at our 10-plex building also. We look forward to sharing more pictures as we make things happen.
