Community Action Partnership of Natrona County

Community Action Partnership of Natrona County CAPNC works with low-income families and individuals in order to meet their immediate needs. The families remain in the program between 3 months until 2 years.

Services that CAPNC offers to clients include: rental and mortgage assistance, utility assistance, emergency food referrals, transportation, emergency lodging, and personal hygiene items. Trained staff work with clients to prevent future financial crises; job development services are also available. CAPNC encourages and works with clients to become self-sufficient ensuring personal pride, growth a

nd success. The 12th Street Clinic/ Health Care for the Homeless addresses the medical problems which often present as obstacles when families and/or individuals begin to focus on changing their living and financial situations. The clinic provides primary and preventative health care, case management, mental health and substance absuse counseling, as well as outreach to at-risk individuals within the community. On the Life Steps Campus of Casper, CAPNC's Transitional Housing program is located. Transitional Housing consists of six units for families with children. The stable living conditions allow families to develop life skills, focus on education and/or employment opportunities.
